On February 11th, 2026 The Liberty Theatre Foundation Inc. published an “Invitation to Bid”, and supporting documents per the rules and standards of the federal procurement process. The bidding window will be for ten weeks, and bids are due on April 23rd, 2026. This contract will result in the theater gaining an occupancy permit, which will allow the theater to finally open for business.

Please find these bid-related documents linked below. We welcome any and all questions and other correspondence from interested parties. There will be two voluntary pre-bid meetings/walkthroughs of the theater that will take place on March 30th & April 7th, 2026.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Although the included drawings and spec sheet offer a vision for a completely restored theater, this particular bid pertains only to work elements that are essential for the theater to gain occupancy (with limited exceptions). Thus, contractors should only offer bids for what is described as “Schedule 1” on the drawings.
